Killa Kanz

Killa Kanz is back! This is a 40K doubles tournament and canned food drive in support of Philabundance, a trusted food bank serving the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley region. To support Philabundance, players can purchase tickets for $1 each, or by donating a canned good for each ticket, that can be spent on in-game stratagems. The tournament is a doubles event (meaning every player will need a teammate), using the following modifications to the standard Warhammer 40,000 rules:

• Each player generates Command Points as normal, but those Command Points form a single pool for use by either member of the team.
• Each player selects a Warlord as usual.
• Each player counts separately for purposes of determining whether a Stratagem has already been used in a given phase or game.
• Each Epic Hero is restricted to one per team. In other words, you and your teammate cannot both play the same named character. The same is true for any other unique equipment or units.
• There’s no restriction on which factions can partner with one another. Your teammates’ units are friendly, and can be affected by your auras and other abilities as long as they meet all other relevant criteria.

Players must have all necessary rules, dice, measuring devices, etc., at their disposal. Pairings will be handled by Best Coast Pairings, so registrants should ensure that they have a BCP account and that the associated email address matches the one they provide at registration for this event. Players must submit a digital copy of their army list either at registration or through BCP on the day of the event. This event will use all FAQ and official updates from Warhammer Community, as well as the most recent version of each Index/Codex (unless it released in the two weeks prior to the event, in which case players may choose to use the previous version). Registration ends at 12:30, but dice hit the table at 1:00 and there will be a 30-minute break after round 2 to facilitate meals.
