Schedule
A more detailed schedule and curriculum will be posted once we’ve finalized our preparations.
Week 1: Each day the campers will play a variety of board games, taking notes on the aspects of each game that they liked and disliked, and learning about the various mechanics involved (from a design perspective), leading up to Friday, when a professional board game designer will be on-hand to help campers brainstorm their own board game designs.
Week 2: Each day the campers will work on designing and building their very own board game (individually, or in groups, at the campers’ discretion), taking breaks throughout the day to help each other play-test their games, or to play other board games for inspiration.
Games
Campers will learn to play a variety of board games throughout the two-week period. A list of specific games is coming soon!
