For this Steamroller, each player must have three 50 point army lists from the same faction (Mercenaries or Minions can use different contracts/pacts/Theme forces), with no two lists sharing the same version of a model or unit with FA C (original and epic incarnations of a character do not count as the same version of a model). Any player-determined model relationships (attached, client, marshaled, etc.) must be specified in each list and cannot change between rounds. The event uses the Deathclock variant (60 minutes for the initial rounds and 75 minutes for the Gauntlet Round), with deployment on the clock, as well as the Control Point variant to determine final standings, and 2015 Steamroller scenarios. Miniatures need not be painted.
Each round until the last uses the rules for a standard Steamroller. After pairings are posted for the Gauntlet Round, however, each player reveals his or her three available 50 point lists to his or her opponent. Then, each player simultaneously reveals the warcaster or warlock he or she will play during the game. A player can select any of their three warcasters or warlocks for this list, regardless of how many times he or she played it in the preliminary rounds.
