Basics
Campers will receive and subsequently hone new Commander decks, learning to evaluate different cards in context and develop into better, more-prepared Magic players. This camp helps foster strategic planning and decision-analysis skills.
Calendar: one-week sessions, Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Cost: $350 per session
Counselor Ratio: one counselor to every four campers
Location: online
Recommended Ages: 11 to 17 years old
Experience Range: novice to advanced, so long as the camper has a basic knowledge of the game’s rules
Amenities: The cost of each camper’s session includes a starter Commander deck, an assortment of cards to suit the camper’s needs (delivered after camp’s conclusion, based on camper’s choices and experiences during camp), a play-mat, a pack of approximately 100 sleeves, and the shipping and subscriptions necessary to get each camper their materials and facilitate online instruction and play.

Campers will be provided with a new Commander deck, which they will refine as they play, all while learning about meta-game context, deck construction guidelines, and card prioritization.
